Tornado

Jack tornado diver

The story · in my own words

The jacks of Tulamben school in one rotating column over the wreck of the Liberty, thousands of fish turning as one, and a diver can hang inside the turn.

A school like this is not many fish deciding; each one follows its neighbour, and the column holds together because none of them is leading it.

Here the column stands between the camera and the sun and the light flares through the gap in it. The diver at its edge gives the size. Tulamben, Bali.

A tornado of jacks with a diver, Tulamben.

The technique and lighting lines link to the craft articles that explain them. A dash means the record does not hold it, and I would rather show the gap than fill it.

Postage is by the tube, not the sheet

Postage is the largest single cost in a print order, and it is charged by the tube. A second print travels in the same one.
